How To Post Pictures (Tutorial)
« on: April 17, 2005, 01:21:33 AM »

Ok, for all of you that want to post pics I'm gonna walk you thru it.

1st. Go to www.photobucket.com

Next, click on " Sign up "

Next, create a screen name and password

Now, select a album name and begin uploading pictures from your media

After that there will be 3 tags underneath the image, URL, TAG, and IMG.

As your typing your text in your post pull up another window and go to photobucket. Copy and paste the IMG tag from photobucket onto your post.

Once you post the image will appear on the thread.

EZ as pie.

Also,
whenever you find a picture on the internet that you want everyone to see, simply right click on the picture and you will see the properties tab show up, click on properties then copy the address URL and paste it on the forum.
SIMPLE. Up at the right hand of the box where you are typing ^^^look up, your mesage.
click the Img tab twice then in between the Img(HERE)Img tabs, paste the address to the picture.
Then click preview to see your masterpiece.
NOTE: Some sites don't allow linking, so when you do this, there is always the possibility of seeing the nasty x still appear.
DON'T UPLOAD FROM YOUR COMPUTER, IT WON'T WORK !!!!

Hey, all contributions that help others here are appreciated. Don't have to be an admin to make one...  Just let me know about it and it'll get stickied.

Also, for those of you that don't want the hassle of signing up for a photo-hosting account...you can upload a photo right from your computer using the "Attachment" feature below the post box. Just make sure to size it to the specs listed (640x480 or smaller and no more than 256kb).

Use the Browse button to locate the photo on your computer. Select it and then click the post button. Make sure that if you have already typed your message, it is as you want it to be first. Then locate the photo to post next. If you do the photo first and then type your message and click preview...you will lose the photo.

Like ricky sez, I got your PM, it seems your missing the IMG tags. It should look like this:

[im g]http://http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/suprarunner/DSC31181.jpg[/img]

Let me know if you still can't figure it out.
